This year, one of Hollywood’s biggest nights was completely reimagined. The MTV Movie & TV Awards certainly took on a new look and feel, but that was nothing compared to the first-ever Movie & TV Awards After-Party. As such, it’s only logical that the party’s guest of honor be brand new, too!
That’s where the newest member of the Toyota lineup comes in. That’s because the theme for the event was built around the modern fairytale-style of the 2018 C-HR’s ad campaign.
Superstar Steve Aoki headlined the event, providing entertainment for the star-studded crowd from 8:00-10:00 PM. With the all-new 2018 C-HR on display, though, Aoki wasn’t the only one capturing attention throughout the night.
A Night of Mischief for the 2018 Toyota C-HR
Centered around the all-new model’s fairytale campaign aesthetic, the after-party doubled as an interactive art installation. Guests donned masquerade masks as they explored the 30,000-square foot space, finding their way through various whimsical installations that doubled as photo booths. In addition to the photo booths and plenty of celebrity selfies, the event was also documented by cult videographer Rory Kramer.
The resulting maze of merriment included everything from an acrobatic Rapunzel twirling above the party to a dazzling Cinderella glowing inside of a kaleidoscope dome. A Gingerbread Man-inspired car chase even tore through the event, captivating attendees.
While the 2018 Toyota C-HR may not introduce Parsippany area drivers to their favorite celebrities or fairytale characters, there’s plenty to be said for the all-new model’s undeniable sense of fun and wonder. With a wealth of technology behind the wheel and a range of exterior colors to choose from, this fun-loving crossover redefines the segment for drivers who want to take the party everywhere they go!
